iF3′s Frequently Asked Questions

 

General Inquiries:
Q. Where will the Nike iF3 take place?
A. The Nike iF3 events will take place at a number of venues:

Q. Are there restrooms on-site?
A. There will be 3 portable restrooms and 1 portable handicap restroom for use in the iF3 Outdoor Village. There will also be restrooms in all other iF3 event locations.

Q. Where can I get food nearby?
A. Zee Southwestern BBQ will be stationed on site with a custom iF3 Menu. There is a Couche Tard at the South West Corner of the iF3 Outdoor Village. Finally, Rue Sainte Catherines is located one block North of iF3 and has a number of restaurants and shops.

Q. Will there be water fountains on-site?
A. There will be water fountains and drinks for sale within the Monument National Theatre, however, there will not be water fountains in the iF3 Outdoor Village. Beverages can also be purchased at all of the food vendors listed above.

Q. Can I use my debit/credit cards at iF3?
A. All sales within the iF3 Outdoor Village and at the bar in the Monument National are CASH ONLY and will not accept cards.
The ticket window at the Monument National will accept cash, credit, and debit.

Q. Can I bring my car to iF3?
A. Yes, you may bring your car however, we suggest that you travel via STM. iF3 will not host private parking on-site and parking downtown is limeted.

Q. Will there be a lost and found?
A: Yes, the lost and found will be located at the iF3 Information Booth in the iF3 Outdoor Village. These items will be available for pickup until 5:00PM on Sunday September 16th. After this point please contact info@if3.ca with any matters concerning lost items.

Q. What is there to do after the movie screenings end?
A. From Thursday the 13th until Saturday the 15th there will be iF3 parties at night.
Thursday the 13th – The Alpine Initiatives iF3 Launch Party
Friday the 14th – Mix Master Mike @ iF3
Saturday the 15th – The Red Bull K2 Rocker Party, featuring Sean Pettit

Q. Where can I stay in Montreal?
A. The Zero 1 Hotel is the official hotel of the Nike iF3. It is conveniently located right next to the Monument National Theatre and the iF3 Outdoor Village. There are numerous hotels near the festival venues. To plan your accommodation visit Tourism Montreal.

Q. How do I volunteer with iF3?
A. The Nike iF3 is looking for enthusiastic and skilled volunteers to help with our festival. Visit our volunteer registration page for details.

Tickets and Passes

**For information regarding pass pick-up please refer to the ticket pick-up information page**

Q. Can I exchange my movie tickets for another screening block?
A. No, all sales are final and are non-refundable/transferable/exchangeable.

Q. What happens if I lose my tickets?
A. Once tickets are distributed they are the responsibility of the ticket-holder. Lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced. Hold onto your tickets like they are cash!

Q. Can I pick up tickets for a friend/have someone else pick up my tickets?
A. Yes, you may pick up tickets for someone else so long as you bring the receipt order number and the name of the person who originally purchased the tickets

Q. Can I buy tickets anywhere other than online or at the venue?
A. Yes, Oberson Boutiques will also be selling iF3 tickets.

Q. What do I do if I am experiencing technical difficulties with the only store?
A. For any technical issues with online purchases please contact: communications@if3.ca

Q. Can I reserve tickets now and pay later?
A. No, we do not allow tickets to be reserved without payment.

 

Movie Screenings
Q. Can I enter a screening after it has started?
A. So long as tickets are not sold out, you may enter a screening after it has started, however, he theatre holds 800 seats so we strongly encourage you to show up early so that you have time to find your seats without disturbing others.

Q. How do I know what movies are playing during a screening block?

Q. What can I/can I not bring into the movie theatre (Monument National)?
Can bring…

  • Personal Items such as wallets and cell phones (however these must be switched off during the screenings)

Cannot Bring…

  • Outside food or drink
  • Alcohol purchased at the Venue
  • Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Backpacks or large purses/ hand bags (There will be a free bag check at the Monument National to store your bags)
  • Video Cameras
  • Skateboards

 

Other Events
Q. Are the parties 18+?
A. The Red Bull K2 Rocker Party, featuring Sean Pettit and Mix Master Mike @ iF3 parties are both all ages shows, however, alcohol will be served at these event. Any minors caught attempting to purchase or consuming alcohol will be ejected from the parties.

The Alpine Initiatives iF3 Launch Party will be an 18+ event.


Outdoor Village
Q. Do I need a ticket for the iF3 Outdoor Village?
A. No, the iF3 Outdoor Village is free to the general public

Q. What kind of activities will take place at the iF3 Outdoor Village?
A. There will be a number of activities throughout the week such as The North Face Outdoor Movie Presentation, video screenings, live art & graffiti, live breakdancing, brand activation tents, sponsor activities and more.

Q. What can I/can I not bring into The iF3 Outdoor Village?
